We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client an experienced Transport Manager who can ensure the smooth running of the Distribution Department. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of NI leading Logistics and distribution companies who have a reputation for excellent within its field.
The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience within a management position with proven ability to work under pressure within a busy transport office. Route and load planning
All candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven ability in the following areas
- Excellent Communication Skills, with the ability to deal effectively with both Clients and Drivers alike
- Computer literate with experience using transport management software to ensure effective route and load planning.
- Effective administration skills to ensure accuracy of information at all times
- Knowledge of all current and impending regulations relevant to the industry.
- Ongoing commitment to the Industry
Current C+E, C or 7.5 tonne licence with CPC would be advantageous though not essential.
